I was knocking around the idea of a Gothic themed setting for some drawings. This is a drawing of a member of the Fraternity of Feathers. This society of like-minded individuals fight against the dark and mysterious setting. They battle the foreboding, fear and dread of the haunted land. This member of the Fraternity of Feathers has a giant owl companion that aids her in her fight against the darkness.

Very cool and original picture. I like how they are both staring you down. I could see a pack of bad guys saying, “You going to hurt us with that little knife?” and then that huge, peck your pants off, bird lands behind her. Original, Gothic idea, which one doesn’t see very often; well done.
Nate, thanks for giving a hoot. I bet that owl also give a hoot and does not pollute! I thought this owl-eyed member of the Fraternity of Feathers should have a giant owl companion. Giant owls always scared me after that episode of Scooby Doo with the huge owls.
