Wreck diver illustration

I added color to one of my old line drawings.  I’m putting my illustrations in order for my new website.  The sea and shipwrecks have always had a strong pull on my imagination.  The ocean has my imagination stuck in an undertow.  My thoughts are pulled under by a riptide.  My metaphors are trapped in the deep silt of the abyssal plain, ha!

I really like this one, Dave! I love the detail! Feels like an adventure. Keep it up!

I really liked your metaphors. I found your metaphors to be akin to waves from the Devonian seashore splashing over the newly birthed land or like a majestic plesiosaurus crested from a warm Jurassic ocean only to crash through the frothing spray in a thunderous tempo. A good metaphor is like a good wine, it never goes bad. Oh, the picture’s cool too.

  3. All I can say is this is awesome! It’s fun and mysterious.
