My latest Illustration Friday illustration

This is my entry for this week’s Illustration Friday word of the week.  The word of the week is, “Book”.  This is a really old illustration I created for a cover for Creative Learning Press.  I used Doc. Martin Inks and colored pencils to create the work.  The inks really allowed you to use great intense colors.  I have not used those inks for years.

Some fun alien sketches

Watercolor Robot

I tried some new watercolor and Photoshop mixes on this robot.   Knocked this one out in about two hours, start to finish.  I also redesigned the look of the blog.  Thought it needed an update.

Ray gun illustration

Here is a spaceman sketch from my doodling in one of my education classes.  I am always drawn to the individual man versus monster theme.  In the end, we all have to face our monsters with nothing but a ray gun and our own gumption.
