Illustration of Some Extra-solar Plants and Animals

Here is an illustration of two of my comic book characters on a distant planet.  Astronomers think it is very likely that every single star in our Milky Way galaxy has at least one planet orbiting around it.  The absolute enormity of the universe makes it likely that life must exist somewhere in our galaxy.   I enjoyed creating some extra-solar plants and animals for my illustration.

Way cool picture! I can’t wait to see the latest installment. Yeah, with all the worlds out there, just by numbers alone, some have to have some amazing life on them, one would think. Artists can let their imagination run wild, which means not every alien has to be a week necked, big headed freak or a shoeless salamander. I like the tomato guy. Of course, on a different world, it is probably pronounced- tomotto.
