Pleasant Witch-ish Woman

I created an ink line drawing and added some color in Photoshop.  I made a witch-ish woman floating with her feline companion. I took the greenish blue tree color scheme from the trees in the Dr. Seuss short story, “What Was I Scared Of”.  The story is in the book, “Stars Upon Thars”.

Very neat Halloween picture! I like how the cat is not so sure about what is going on, the position of most familiars I would imagine, kind of like captured interns. I do like the creepy trees with the spooky, off color greens and how they intertwine with each other to create a very interesting backdrop.

Ha,captured interns. I thought the cat should show some concern for being on a flying broom. That would not be a very safe way to travel. It does look like an early Halloween picture. I guess I already have Halloween on my mind.

It seems like it should be menacing but it’s so charming instead! The teeny cat is too cute, even if he’s mad about something, and that does look like the most good-natured witch there could be. Very cool trees!

Thanks as always for dropping by my blog. We’ve been chatting by blog for years now! Though sometimes just a couple times a year. 😉
