Look out! Here comes the bullywugs of the bog!

Here is my homage illustration of the bullywugs of the bog.  They were created by Gary Gygax for the first edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons original Fiend Folio.  The bullywugs are portrayed as a violent race of marsh-dwelling frog-like humanoids.  Bullywugs were often featured as a common antagonist in the 1980s Dungeons and Dragons animated series.  I always liked these frog-like villains.

Very nicely done! Great skin textures and poses. Excellent character representation. They remind me a bit of murlocks (from World of Warcraft) so I imagine them making a very silly sound too. 🙂

Cindy, I imagine bullywugs would make a strange sound. Almost like someone with a frog caught in their throat. I looked up that murlock sound and it is really funny. Not as funny as a baby murlock sound. Look that one up.

Very cool picture! Nice rendition of the Bullywugs. I like the marsh environment and their native weaponry, such as a turtle shield and frog spear. Their eyes are a cool touch. Well done!

Nate, remember the constantly attacking bullywugs in the Dungeons and Dragons animated series. Seems like every episode started with a bullywugs ambush.
